Job summary

CoxHealth Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO seeks an individual to perform administrative and select clinical duties under provider supervision. Responsibilities include scheduling, records management, vitals, histories, and phlebotomy support in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Required: completion of an MA program with pharmacology/externship OR an accredited LPN diploma. Prior clinic experience is preferred; strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a formal MA training program including pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, medication administration and externship.
• Or graduate with an accredited LPN diploma.
• Ambulatory clinic experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and maintain medical records under provider direction.
• Take and record vital signs and medical histories; prepare patients for examination.
• Draw blood and assist with clinical procedures as directed.
