Job summary

The MA III at Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO provides administrative and clinical support in a fast-paced ambulatory setting under supervision. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, data entry in medical records, vital signs, preparing patients, and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Graduated from or completion of a formal MA training program including pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, basics of medication administration and externship.
• Certification or Registration from CoxHealth approved programs: CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA/NAHP, NCMA/NCCT, RMA/AAMP.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule appointments and perform data entry in medical records under supervision.
• Measure and record vital signs; collect demographics and medication lists.
• Prepare patients for examination; maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Assist with medication administration and ensure conflict-free dosing under provider supervision.
• Collaborate with the team to support efficient clinic operations in ambulatory setting.
