Job summary

UK King's Daughters in the United States is seeking an LPN to deliver patient care within a multidisciplinary ambulatory team. You will perform trained clinical tasks such as starting IVs, wound care, triage, and medication administration while communicating changes to RNs or LIPs.

You will gather vitals, collect specimens, document medical data, and help coordinate referrals and testing. A valid LPN license, BLS, CPI, and 0–2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical training in a related area.
• 0-2 years of healthcare or clinical setting experience; paid experience.
• LPN license in applicable state with active status; BLS certification; CPI training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for provider visits by obtaining vitals and health histories.
• Assists with examinations, procedures, and treatments and transcribes orders.
• Administers medications safely and monitors responses.
• Performs phlebotomy and in-clinic lab testing as required.
• Performs patient triage, schedules appointments, and coordinates referrals.
• Maintains accurate medical records and supports daily team operations.
• Educates patients and families on care and treatment.
• Ensures patient satisfaction and safety in a patient-centered environment.
