Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care under RN supervision across a designated unit. You will prepare for and assist with procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Under the direction of the RN, you will administer medications and venipuncture as appropriate, document patient status, and contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient unit environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Licensure to practice as LPN in TN required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to physician orders and unit standards.
• Collect information from patient, family, labs and reports.
• Assist with procedures and examinations and monitor patient status.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
