Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an experienced LPN to supervise clinical support staff in ambulatory operations. The role includes directing patient care activities, coordinating staff, and ensuring efficient workflows across a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of medical office LPN experience.
• Demonstrated Leadership experience.
• Ability to coordinate and organize multiple functions and activities in an ambulatory setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with all levels.
• Strong organizational and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in relevant computer software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise assigned personnel including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation and training.
• Monitor workflow and productivity; take corrective action to ensure efficient workflow.
• Direct patient care activities; assess patient flow and plan staffing accordingly.
• Perform and/or delegate patient treatments; document patient care and improve medical records.
• Address phone encounters and ensure appropriate follow-through; mentor staff in intake processes.
