The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Ambulatory Acute Leukemia Clinic at Ohio State University provides health care services in collaboration with a licensed physician. Qualifications

• Current APRN authority to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program eligible to sit for certification by a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN).
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Graduate of a PA-C program eligible to sit for the NCCPA certification exam.
• Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services to patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff.
• Care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including education and counseling of individuals and families.
• Promote health, prevention, and refer to other healthcare providers when appropriate.
