Job summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers oncology care to patients in the home setting as part of a multidisciplinary program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Working with a licensed physician, APP manages cancer-related symptoms, treatment toxicities, and supportive care to determine safe home care vs escalation.

Minimum qualifications include Ohio APRN authority or NCCPA pathway eligibility, MSN or NP/PA education, and 0 years of required experience with oncology

Qualifications

• Currently licensed APRN in Ohio or eligibility for PA-C licensure.
• Graduate of an NP program eligible to sit for national certifying exam and holding MSN.
• 1–2 years oncology experience preferred; 0 years acceptable with proper credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced oncology assessment and clinical management in patients' homes.
• Collaborate with oncology teams, RNs, pharmacists and other clinicians to extend care.
