Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Pharmacy on the Winston Campus. This full-time, 40-hour per week role is on the 1st shift, with rotating weekends and holidays, and includes a $6,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

You will assist licensed pharmacists with technical duties, prepare and label medications, support procurement and inventory, and help with medication distribution and documentation while adhering to USP standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred.
• NC Board of Pharmacy registration required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with technical duties for medication preparation and distribution.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Support procurement, inventory control, and outdate checks; document as required.
• Handle phone calls and route inquiries with proper etiquette.
• Train technicians and extenders as needed; follow all safety and regulatory standards.
