Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Ambulatory Infusion/Oncology Pharmacist to join our clinical team. You will provide medication management expertise, verify orders, intervene clinically, and ensure safe compounding and handling of oncology therapies.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses and pharmacists to optimize patient therapy, manage drug information, and support infusion services, while maintaining compliance with USP and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• California Pharmacist license required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 Oncology residency or at least 1 year oncology pharmacy experience.
• Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred.
• Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred.
• EPIC/Beacon experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform age- and disease-specific pharmacokinetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as medication management expert, verifying orders and providing clinical interventions.
• Oversee compounding per USP, Board of Pharmacy and other regulations.
• Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported and appropriately wasted.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient medication therapy.
