OhioHealth Imaging Administration is seeking a senior leader to oversee Radiology, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Care operations. This role drives strategy, daily performance, budgeting and physician alignment with hospital Medical Directors.

The position emphasizes safety, quality and high reliability, with responsibility for accreditation, talent development and cross-department collaboration to deliver excellent patient care and organizational results.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in health or business administration is required.
  • At least 5 years of management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Imaging modalities, Cardiovascular Services and Respiratory Care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic operations for Radiology, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory Care.
  • Develop budgets and administer operating and capital budgets.
  • Collaborate with Medical Directors to align physicians and improve satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations, strategic planning, staff development, and accreditation.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and safety standards.

Job Description Summary

This position leads the strategic vision, smooth operations and the overall success of the balanced scorecard, including the planning, organizing, staffing and establishing control systems for Radiology, Cardiovascular Services. He/She develops and administers operating and capital budgets and performs other project work, as assigned. This position will work closely with hospital Medical Directors to ensure physician alignment and satisfaction within OhioHealth.

Responsibilities And Duties

25% Daily operations Responsible for the success of overall operations of the Radiology department, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Care. Works directly with managers to ensure balanced scorecard metrics are met on a consistent basis. 24/7 responsibility for all areas of responsibility. Develops and administers operating and capital budgets, in partnership with appropriate management.

25% Strategic planning and execution Responsible for development of an overall strategic plan for the Radiology, Cardiovascular and Respiratory Care. Works directly with executive leadership, physicians, leadership team and associates to recognize opportunities for growth. Builds and maintains relationships with vendors and internal customers. Develops/maintains metrics to ensure success as anticipated.

25% Responsible for career development, coaching, and mentoring management and staff-level associates. Fosters and supports staff-level development.

10%: System responsibilities Responsible for system initiatives as related to Radiology, Cardivascular and Respiratory Care.

10%: Physician Relationships Works collaboratively with all appropriate Medical Directors to promote positive relationships with physicians. Responsive to physician concerns regarding operations and patient issues. Works directly with the physicians to collaborate on goals, metrics, new technology, etc.

5%: Accreditation Responsible for maintaining current accreditations such as ACR, ACOS, NAPBC, IAC, The Joint Commission and others as deemed appropriate.

As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
