Lead curriculum development, mentor learners, and collaborate with the Program Director to advance ambulatory medical education and community engagement across diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Passion for Medical Education: teaching, mentoring, developing physicians.
• Leadership/Academic interest in graduate medical education.
• Patient-centered approach to care.
• Arizona medical licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and continually improve ambulatory and community medicine curriculum.
• Dedicated academic time for curriculum development, resident education, and mentorship.
• Provide high-quality internal medicine care in a community-based outpatient setting.
• Teach and mentor students and residents to develop clinical reasoning, communication, leadership, and professional identity.
• Strengthen connections between the residency program and local communities.
