American Academy of Hiv Medicine, Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to deliver ambulatory care pharmacotherapy, collaborate with clinicians, and provide MTM and program leadership within the HIV programs. The role includes precepting students and serving on committees to advance pharmacy services.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD with a PGY1 residency and Maryland license, with BLS certification and NPI upon hire; PGY2 in ID/AC or BCPS/BCACP/BCIDP/AAHIVP is preferred.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency required.
• Current Maryland license to practice pharmacy.
• Must become BLS certified.
• National Provider Identifier must be obtained upon hire.
• PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases/Ambulatory Care preferred.
• Board certifications (BCPS/BCACP/BCIDP/AAHIVP) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide ambulatory care pharmacotherapy services and MTM.
• Lead coaching and supervision of clinical pharmacy staff.
• Coordinate education activities for clinicians, nurses, and staff.
• Serve as preceptor to students and residents; participate in committees.
• Collaborate with CBHC pharmacies and teams on medication management and safety.
