Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a PSC Ambulatory II-FOH to join the addiction medicine team. This 0.6 FTE position provides clerical support for clinical areas, handling complex scheduling, patient registrations, and customer service for patients and families.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of Front of House experience, with preferred certifications in HFMA, NAHAM, or HBI Patient Access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Front of House experience in a medical or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and payer/insurance concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for Ambulatory departments and clinics.
• Lead scheduling efforts and manage complex appointments across providers.
• Support front-of-house teams and participate in process improvements.
• Assist with in-basket messages and ensure SLA-based prioritization.
• Mentor new staff and help with onboarding.
• Promote clinic efficiency and accurate patient registrations.
