Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in ambulatory settings across Charlotte Market. You will perform check-ins, rooming, phlebotomy, POC testing, screenings, and support various clinics.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, 1 year of nursing experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license. You may float to multiple clinics within the service area and must adhere to safety and ethical standards

Qualifications

• 1 year of nursing experience typically required.
• BSN preferred; RN licensure required or equivalent.
• BLS certification required; telehealth/virtual practice knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the team.
• Maintains safety culture and adherence to standards.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and collaborates with care teams.
• May float to multiple clinics within the service area.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies.
• Complete required education and maintain certifications.
• Uphold ANA Code of Ethics and professional standards.
