Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking an RN for the Outpatient Float Pool to support SAMG clinics across the Treasure Valley. Schedules vary by location with 5 eight-hour shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts, or 3 twelve-hour shifts; a flexible schedule may include rotating, mixed days, weekends or evenings.

As an RN, you will administer medications, coordinate with licensed providers, mentor staff, maintain accurate documentation, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• RN license in Idaho required prior to hire.
• Multistate license must establish Idaho residency within 60 days of hire.
• Oregon RN license proof required within 90 days of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers.
• Administer medications and maintain a safe nursing area.
• Provide patient and family education and resources based on needs.
• Serve as a mentor to clinical staff and maintain accurate documentation.
• Preserve confidentiality of information.
