Job summary

The Ambulatory Float Pool Clinical Nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital provides high-quality, patient-centered care across a wide range of outpatient clinical settings. This role supports multiple ambulatory practice areas based on operational needs, including specialty clinics, surgical subspecialties, and procedural areas.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of RN experience, preferably in critical care, ED, or infusion settings.
• BSN preferred.
• RN licensure and eligibility to work.
• Ability to educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care across ambulatory settings.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and medications.
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care.
• Documents and coordinates plans of care with the care team.
• Addresses social determinants of health to improve outcomes.
