The Ambulatory Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse outpatient settings, including specialty clinics, surgical subspecialties, and procedural areas. This position offers exposure to various ambulatory services, fostering professional growth and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, addressing physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs, while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring continuity of care.
• Assess patient needs and barriers, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience, preferably in Critical Care, ED, or Infusion.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Valid RN license required; no supervisory experience necessary.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills required.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience and BSN.
