Job summary

Xanitos is hiring Ambulatory Housekeepers at Lutherville-Timonium Medical Center in Timonium, MD. This Full-Time, on-site position runs 7:00am-3:30pm with rotating holidays and weekends and pays $17.50 per hour.

Keep ambulatory facilities clean and orderly by performing duties such as cleaning fixtures, rooms, floors, and restrooms while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Experience in janitorial work is preferred; post-offer medical screening and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial industry preferred but not required.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
