Qualifications

• Perioperative nursing care utilizing nursing process.
• Assess patients during perioperative period and document.
• Start IVs and monitor patient status during and after procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients throughout perioperative period and document appropriately.
• Start IVs, administer meds as ordered, monitor patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures, position, scrub, drape.
• Provide PACU care and emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain sterile field and assist physicians as needed.
• Rotate within department as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
