St. Charles Health System is seeking an Ambulatory Services Auditor and Clinical Documentation Specialist I to conduct audits of outpatient, inpatient and ambulatory service medical documentation across the organization to ensure ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding accuracy.

You will educate physicians and staff on coding guidelines, monitor compliance, and support process improvements in revenue integrity while collaborating with the System Revenue Integrity Director.

Competenze

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associates degree in Health Information Technology or related field.
• 0-3 years of coding experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations (MPFS, IPPS and OPPS) preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct system-wide pre- visit or post-visit chart reviews of professional services incl. hospital and clinic settings.
• Audit and monitor all lines of system business for coding including outpatient, inpatient and ambulatory services.
• Provide education and feedback to the HIM/coding teams to ensure compliance with quality coding standards.
• Assist in conducting system-wide education and training in coding of professional services.
