Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking staff for the Pain Management - Medical Group West to support patient care within an outpatient setting. The role involves working under the supervision of an RN or Provider, participating in delivering comprehensive care across multiple modalities, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The position emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced clinic, with day shifts and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

Responsibilities

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.
• Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider.
• Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

About the Unit

Our Spine Center works together to provide personalized care based on each patient's health journey. Our unique approach matches each patient with the most appropriate specialist from diagnosis through treatment and rehabilitation. We offer 3 specialties in one location, Physical Medicine Rehab, Spine Surgery, and Pain Intervention that all offer many different modalities of treatment including (but not limited to) non-surgical treatments/conservative care, surgical treatments, outpatient procedures, and pain psychology.No weekends or holidays! Clinical staff work four 10hr shifts with one consistent day off during the week.

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team. Collects and reports physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with and as delineated by the RN or Provider. Ensures that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
