Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System seeks an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Ambulatory Pharmacy. The Manager will provide direct patient care and centralized responsibilities aligned with care delivery goals and may develop collaborative drug therapy agreements with providers.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree required.
• ASHP-Accredited PGY-1 required; PGY-2 preferred.
• Board certification (BCACP) or obtain BCACP within 2 years of hire, required.
• Alternative BPS certifications may be approved by Director (BCGP, BCCP, BCTXP, BCPP, etc).

Responsibilities

• Delivery of clinical pharmacy services with a focus on chronic disease management.
• Identification, development, and implementation of new pharmacy strategies and innovation pilot projects.
• Serve as a preceptor for residency programs and provide scholarly activities.
• Develop and scale medication management programs; manage goals of pharmacy integration across MSHS.
• Support financial, quality and utilization analytics and performance improvement evaluations.
• Serve as pharmacy representative on organizational committees.
• Supervises pharmacy employees and participates in evaluations.
• Provides off-hour coverage and supports orientation activities.
