Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Nursing Manager to join the management team, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to staff management and patient care. Responsibilities include quality monitoring, patient assessments, direct patient care and education, with leadership in quality improvement initiatives.

The role requires coordination of clinical training, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment by managing clinical care and quality controls.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to clinical staff per regulations.
• Manages daily clinical workflow and ensures staff follow standard procedures.
• Ensures OSHA, CLIA, VFC, DoH and other standards compliance; maintains safety materials and equipment.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives and participates in safety programs.
• Trains, mentors, and appraises clinical staff; oversees training on new equipment and practices.
• Assists in development of clinical policies and procedures and evaluates quality metrics.
