Job summary

University of Kentucky HealthCare seeks an Ambulatory Clinical Operations Director to lead multiple clinical practices in partnership with Medical Directors and senior leaders. Responsible for quality, safety, service, financial, HR and infrastructure operations and metrics across clinics.

Requires healthcare operations leadership, matrix management, and strong analytical capabilities. The role demands strategic oversight, collaboration with physicians, and the ability to drive improvements

Qualifications

  • MA or equivalent required.
  • Healthcare administration experience preferred.
  • Experience in operations, management, HR, finance, facilities planning, or consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to ambulatory clinical operations and multiple clinics.
  • Partner with Medical Directors and Clinical Leads on performance and governance.
  • Develop and monitor financial and operational metrics and ensure quality and safety.

Education

Master's degree (MA) in Healthcare Administration or related field

Job Summary

UK Healthcare is seeking an Ambulatory Clinical Operations Director to provide leadership to multiple clinical practices in partnership with Medical Directors, Clinical Leads and/ or other physician and senior leaders. The Director will be accountable for the quality, safety, service, financial, human resources and infrastructure operations as well as the signature metrics for one or more community clinics at UK HealthCare. Strong experience in healthcare operations, physician partnerships and matrix management/reporting will be integral to success in this position. The Director will need to exhibit leadership skills, as well as demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis, financial and operational metrics development, accountability and delegation.
