Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient care by performing routine tasks under supervision.
• Obtains and records vital signs.
• Collects and processes specimens (blood, urine, sputum, stool).
• Reports changes in patient parameters to the RN or physician.
• Assists with stocking exam rooms and supplies.
• Participates in data collection for screening (personal data, history).
• Assists with specimen collection for tests (urine pregnancy, throat cultures, hemocult).
• Transports patients and equipment as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and communicates clearly.
