Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Office Registered Nurse to provide safe, high‑quality care to adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. This role applies the nursing process to assess needs, perform care tasks, administer injections and vaccines, monitor anticoagulation testing, and coordinate follow‑up with providers and the care team.

Qualifications

• ASN from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Management preferred.
• Current RN license in NH and VT required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS or Heartsaver CPR certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, monitors, and documents patient status in EMR.
• Coordinates daily Ambulatory Nurse Clinic operations and scheduling.
• Performs injections, wound care, blood pressure checks, and outpatient EKGs.
• Manages referrals, IV medications, pre-operative orders, and related care.
• Educates patients on medications, chronic disease, vaccines, and anticoagulation.
• Performs PT/INR testing and supports safe anticoagulation management.
• Triages concerns and supports telemedicine clinic operations.
• Maintains clinic readiness, inventory, and quality initiatives.
