Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare's Roy Clinic in Utah is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in an ambulatory setting. You will assist providers, gather information, and care for patients with acute and chronic needs, delivering compassionate care across in-person and telephone interactions.

This role includes nights, weekends and holiday rotations; requires MA program completion or related experience or RN/LPN license in Utah, BLS, basic computer skills and EMR

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program or one year of MA work experience.
• Current active and in-good-standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Utah.
• BLS certification required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians by gathering information relevant to the patient visit.
• Communicate clearly with patients via in-person and phone interactions.
