• Credentials CCS, CRC or CPC required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews outpatient charts to assess clinical status and coding accuracy.
• Performs audits and validates documentation for proper capture of coding.
• Educates physicians on compliant documentation and coding practices.
• Uses billing data to identify opportunities to improve outpatient coding.
• Interacts with clinicians and CDI leadership to drive quality improvement.
