Qualifikationen

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and EMT-Basic/EMT-Intermediate/EMT-Paramedic in NC.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider status required on hire.
• PEARS certification encouraged (PALS/ENPC/NALS may substitute for EMT-Intermediates).

Aufgaben

• Follows departmental guidelines for absences, tardiness, breaks, and unit scheduling.
• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff courteously; maintain timely communications.
• Order and obtain supplies; perform infection control and safety practices.
• Identify patients needing 12 lead EKG and transport specimens to the lab.
• Assist with patient care activities under RN supervision and maintain patient safety.
