Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Des Plaines, IL. This full-time role delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an ambulatory setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patient needs and uphold professional standards.

The position requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm or 8:30am–5pm with one Saturday rotation every 4–6 weeks.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
