Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support medical providers in an ambulatory care setting at Nantucket Cottage Hospital. The role involves working alongside physicians, hospital leadership, and care teams to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and may include supervision of medical assistants.

The RN will participate in daily operations, maintain patient safety, and ensure HIPAA compliance while providing patient education and coordinating care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing.
• HIPAA compliant and privacy aware.
• Experience administering immunizations is a plus.
• Ability to educate patients by phone and in person.

Responsibilities

• Support medical providers in ambulatory care to deliver patient-centered care.
• Oversee daily operations of office and supervise medical assistants as needed.
• Handle patient calls and schedule appointments; provide health information.
• Document and update patient records in the EHR; ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in morning huddle and coordinate care across teams.
• Maintain infection control practices and comply with policies.
