Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Ambulatory care nursing experience preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One year telephone triage experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling and professional etiquette.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration following SSH policies and documentation.
• Develops, evaluates and updates patient care plans; documents outcomes.
• Ensures safety and quality per policy; participates in charting and compliance.
• Maintains professional development through ongoing education and performance improvement.
• Uses Outlook, Epic, HealthStream and Workday for daily tasks and learning.
• Complies with policies; safeguards patient privacy and information.
• Delivers patient- and family-centered care; collaborates with care teams.
• Considers age/cultural factors in care delivery; supports diverse populations.
• Participates in continuous learning and technology adoption.
