Qualifications

• Licensure in New Mexico or compact state.
• ADN minimum with BSN expected within 5 years of hire.
• BSN preferred within 5 years; specialty certifications encouraged.
• BLS certification required for all.
• Additional area-specific requirements vary by service.
• CDS Outpatient certification may be required.
• Oncology Chemotherapy and ACLS/PALS required for certain areas.
• New graduate or experienced nurse considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in ambulatory care per clinic staffing models.
• Provide telephone triage and triage-based patient care per clinic staffing models.
• Manage medication refills as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols.
• Ensure safe, timely, effective, patient-centered care for all patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
