Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital seeks an Ambulatory Clinical RN to lead the outpatient care team, applying the nursing process in line with established standards, policies, and procedures.

The role covers ambulatory services across clinic sites with a focus on quality care and collaborative practice. The RN will supervise staff, maintain regulatory compliance, mentor colleagues, manage workflows, and advocate for patients while preserving confidentiality in a fast-paced clinic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current California RN license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Providers (AHA) is required.
• Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the healthcare team; delegates tasks to ensure patient care is completed.
• Maintains high quality care in compliance with Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and other departments.
• Collaborates to resolve patient care issues and streamline access to services.
• Supervises staff to maintain patient care and service standards.
• Advocates for patients and improves patient care processes across the care continuum.
• Monitors budgets, resources, and safety, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Mentors and trains staff; maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information.
