Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Clinical RN to lead our outpatient clinics, delivering professional nursing care using the nursing process and ensuring compliance with standards and patient safety.

The role requires California RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with strong leadership to supervise staff, coordinate with physicians, manage patient flow, and uphold service excellence across ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current California RN license required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Providers (AHA).
• Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS) (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Leads the health care team; delegates tasks and maintains accountability.
• Supervises work assignments to ensure timely patient care activities.
• Ensures care meets standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establishes collaborat ive relationships with physicians and departments.
• Drives quality improvement and cost-effective care across ambulatory services.
• Assess patient needs and advocate for patients and families.
• Mentor staff and manage change within the unit.
• Collaborates with leadership on strategic planning for ambulatory services.
