Job summary

Essentia Grand Rapids Clinic seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee daily operations of the FAMILY PRACTICE department, including staffing, workflows, and budget input. This role ensures high-quality patient care, supports staff development, and advocates for patients within a collaborative care team.

You will bring a current RN license, BCLS certification, and at least 2 years of leadership in ambulatory or community health settings.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing leadership experience in ambulatory or community health settings.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in a healthcare environment.
• Current license with the State Board of Nursing and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned department, including staffing and developing workflows.
• Provide input to leadership on policies, procedures, systems and operating budgets.
• Lead nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts to achieve high standards of care.
