Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS RN license required; certifications as needed.
• Previous experience in critical care and/or labor/delivery highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiologic health status using comprehensive health assessments across body systems.
• Assess psychosocial health status and learning needs; document care plans.
• Develop and implement the plan of care; coordinate with physicians and care team.
• Administer medications safely and accurately; educate patient and family.
• Provide wound care and pressure ulcer management.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans; document outcomes.
• Collaborate with care team; delegate appropriately while ensuring timely care.
• Provide discharge planning and referrals; give clear post-care instructions.
• Document all patient care and communications per policy.
• Demonstrate leadership and clinical judgment in unit operations.
• Perform related duties as required.
