Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; NYS RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications preferred depending on office requirements.
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or teaching experience.
• Outpatient ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and MS Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of ambulatory care teams ensuring quality of care, patient satisfaction, and safety.
• Provide leadership, role modeling, and liaison for the care team; support educational activities.
• Collaborate with practice leadership to meet goals and metrics; provide staff education.
• May oversee care team staff for multiple offices; recruit and orient new hires.
• Ensure compliance with HR, ACPNY, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain regulatory certifications and infection control standards; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with the Practice Administrator on schedules, facility maintenance, and risk management.
