Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for ambulatory care. This full-time role leads regulatory compliance, staff development, and safety initiatives across clinical departments at the Ochsner Medical Complex—The Grove.

You will supervise staff, coordinate staff onboarding, promote evidence-based practices, and partner with leaders to drive quality improvements while upholding professional standards and patient safety.

Qualificações

• Must have computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications and role-specific software.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with operational and clinical leaders to ensure safe patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Assists with staff orientation programs and credentialing for new hires.
• Promotes unit compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and contributes to annual performance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Monitors physical plant cleanliness and infection control in collaboration with infection control.
• Promotes front-line accountability across the department for all employees.
