Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekends, holidays, on-call) and travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with operational and clinical leaders to ensure safe patient care using evidence-based best practices.
• Assists with staff orientation programs, assessing competencies and credentialing for new hires.
• Promotes unit compliance with clinical policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Assists in planning and identifying areas for quality improvement initiatives.
• Provides input for annual performance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Monitors interior physical plant for cleanliness and OSHA/infection control compliance.
• Works with leadership to promote front-line accountability across the department.
• Adapts interactions to patient population, respecting privacy and tailoring explanations and communication style.
• Performs other related duties as required.
