Job summary

Banner Imaging is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to support six imaging centers across the Greater Phoenix area. The role involves pre-work, patient monitoring, port access, IV hydration, and coordination of contrast allergy medications.

You will work in a fast-paced ambulatory environment, with locations in Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria, Sun City, and Goodyear, delivering high-quality nursing care. This position emphasizes cross-site collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact licensure.
• Certificate in BLS is required and may need additional area-specific certifications.
• Preferred experience in ambulatory/outpatient imaging or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care across multiple imaging centers.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education within the care plan.
• Administer IV hydration and medications per physician orders.
• Monitor patients, manage ports, and support contrast allergy coordination.
• Document care and communicate patient status to the care team.
• Provide supervision and mentoring as assigned, ensuring safe, high-quality care.
