Job summary

Hospital Central Services Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Customer Care Representative for the Ambulatory Care Division in Allentown. The role ensures timely, high-quality communications with customers and supports linen services for healthcare facilities.

Starting salary is $52,500 and will be commensurate with experience. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life insurance, vacation and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year experience in a customer service representative capacity is required.
• 1 year experience in sales, marketing, service industry, healthcare, or customer service is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent communication skills including business reporting & verbal communication
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Warehouse management systems (WMS) and Zendesk are required.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and make decisions, seeking appropriate guidance as necessary
• A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of HCSC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Customer Service Communications Manager and Call Center to ensure CRM is updated and responses are provided within 24 hours.
• Scheduling proactive visits with reactive follow-up to customer concerns weekly; visits should be documented.
• Conduct surveys of quality, quantity, and delivery efficiencies; identify opportunities to control inventory and set action plans with the customer and Service Team.
