Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• In areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing, must have ACLS certification within six months of hire
• One year of recent RN or related clinical healthcare experience in ambulatory settings

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and patient care equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed
