Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Hunter’s Ambulance Service is seeking a detail-oriented team member to manage medical equipment and supplies. The role ensures ambulances are stocked and compliant, with emphasis on inventory control, procurement, inspection, and regulatory compliance across CT operations.

As part of a state-wide EMS network, you will support readiness and safety, handling equipment stocking and documentation while adhering to strict standards and best practices in the field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record; CDL preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, procurement, inspection, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision and management of medical equipment and supplies through inventory control, procurement, inspection, and compliance processes.
• Ensure ambulances are stocked and equipped to meet organizational and state requirements, including verifying onboard medical equipment and oxygen systems are functional and compliant.
• Maintain vehicle readiness related to equipment and supplies; does not perform mechanical maintenance.
