Job summary

Leader Ambulance in Southern California is hiring for a production/assembly role on the production floor. You will install interior and exterior components and help set priorities to meet production goals.

Candidates should read and follow engineering drawings, use measuring tools, and work safely with tools like table saws, band saws and routers. 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred; English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English
• Must be able to prioritize work
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English
• Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devises
• Familiar with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and router
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards
• Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it

Responsibilities

• Installation of all interior/exterior components and hardware
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as schedules
• Meet all QA and QC standards for each task
• Function with a minimal amount of supervision
• Meet standards of safety and 5S standards
• Promote the use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture
• Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance policy
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
