Job summary

AMR is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician in San Diego, CA. This full-time role involves ensuring ambulances are serviced, safe, and ready for rapid response, with a $18.43 per hour wage and a $1,000 sign-on bonus with commitment.

Responsibilities include stocking, keeping vehicles clean, conducting daily inventory checks, performing basic mechanical checks, and documenting all activity while adhering to safety and security policies. Collaborative work with crews and the Fleet team is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ambulances are fully stocked and safely maintained.
• Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for crew and patients.
• Perform daily vehicle inventory checks and update logs.
• Run regular mechanical checks and report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Document information and follow company policies and security standards.
• Coordinate with departments and other vehicle service techs.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and operations team.
