The role emphasizes technical expertise, supervision, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced shop, alongside daily leadership of shop personnel and coordination with the Fleet Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of automotive or fleet maintenance experience.
• Journeyman-level mechanical experience and strong electrical diagnostic ability.
• Current valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications A1-A8 (incl. Brake) and ASE 609.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on ambulances and fleet vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems.
• Read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and wiring schematics.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and work orders.
