Responsibilities

As our Ambulance Driver, you'll assist with patient care as directed by the EMT or Paramedic on emergency and transport services and be responsible for driving the ambulance. You will assist with calling Intercept, utilize radio communications, and demonstrate knowledge of equipment.

What you'll do...

• Provide professional and compassionate care to all.
• Perform skills and complete documentation as required.
• Assist with patient care as directed by EMT or Paramedic.
• Assist with calling for Intercept with ALS interventions as needed.
• Use radio communication properly and legally.
• Complete all documentation according to SOPs.
• Perform personal cares according to SOPs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment location, setup, and use.
• Assist with coordination and preparation of transfers when necessary.
• Maintain age-specific competencies and understand principles of growth, maturity, and development relevant to job functions.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain certification requirements specific to the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA.
• Valid ND Driver’s License.
