Summary:
Provides communication and administrative support between hospital and internal/external customers for the patient conveyancearea by using interventional and critical thinking skills. Ensures continuous and effective service of the patient conveyance system. In general terms, is the first point of contact for internal and external customers.
Emergency Medical Technician training and certification.
High School graduate, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months as a dispatcher in a relevant field. (EMS /Clinical background is preferred).
Tech-savvy with knowledge of computer aided dispatch software (CAD). Advanced data entry skills. Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations. Proficient in English 9 oral and written). Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.Active listener with excellent communication skills. Sound judgment and critical thinking.
