Job summary

Alpaca Health is hiring a Community Manager to build and run the Herd—our family and ambassador community. You will own the ambassador program end to end, grow the community, and be the voice of our families inside the company, turning genuine connection into growth.

You lead with heart, design engaging, human experiences, and turn ideas into real programs with measurable impact. You will create events and online touchpoints that make belonging feel special and authentic.

Qualifications

• Experience building and growing communities from scratch.
• Ability to lead with empathy and foster trust with families and teammates.
• Creativity to design belonging programs that feel warm, not transactional.
• Attention to detail in building scalable community systems.
• Fast, outcome-driven mindset with a bias toward action and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the ambassador program end to end: recruitment, onboarding, incentives, recognition, and swag.
• Grow the community: create online spaces, recurring touchpoints, and partner events.
• Turn connection into referrals: build natural, rewarding referral flows.
• Be the voice of the family: feedback loops to brand, product, and leadership.
